Actor stipends are available for some roles. Housing is available upon request.



dates and times

Monday, July 29 from 6-9pm at the Granbury Opera House (133 E. Pearl Street, Granbury, Texas 76048 – please enter through the Artists Entrance at the back of the building)

Callbacks (if needed – by invitation only):  Tuesday, July 30 from 6-9pm at the Granbury Opera House

Rehearsals:  Rehearsals will begin Monday, August 5. Typically, rehearsals will be Mondays-Thursdays from 7-10pm and Saturdays from 9am-1pm.  Tech Week rehearsals on September 2-6 will be Monday-Thursday from 6-10pm.  There may be a Q2Q rehearsal on Sunday, September 1.

Performances:  The production runs from September 7-29 with shows on Fridays at 7:30pm, Saturdays at 2pm and 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2pm. 



Audition Requirements

  • Bring a headshot and resume.
  • You must note ALL conflicts for rehearsals and performances on the evening of your auditions.
  • Auditions will include a cold reading from the script.

Paul and Corie Bratter are newlyweds in every sense of the word. After a six day honeymoon, they get a surprise visit from Corie’s loopy mother and decide to play matchmaker during a dinner with their neighbor-in-the-attic Velasco, where everything that can go wrong, does.
